Il Lago Maggiore
Fin dall’antichità la zona del Lago Maggiore, per la mitezza del clima e per i suoi paesaggi luminosi e al tempo stesso ricchi di suggestione, è stata meta di numerosi viaggi e pellegrinaggi culturali e religiosi.Poeti ed artisti ne hanno sempre subito il fascino misterioso: da Leonardo Da Vinci a Hamingway, dalla Regina Vittoria al Re dell’Arabia Saudita. Ruskin nel 1837 scrisse: “Chiamo questa regione del lago Maggiore il paradiso terreste, l’Eden d’Italia."

In Auto:
Arrivando da Milano in macchina, prendere l’autostrada A8 in direzione Varese-Laghi. Seguire le indicazioni per Varese fino al punto un cui l’autostrada si sdoppia: andando a destra si prosegue per Varese mentre mantenendo la sinistra si prosegue per Gravellona Toce. Seguite le indicazioni per Gravellona Toce e vi immetterete automaticamente sulla A26. Qui proseguire sempre dritti fino ad incontrare l’uscita di Baveno/Stresa. Uscite dalla superstrada e seguite le indicazioni per Verbania costeggiando il lago: la nostra struttura rimane sulla destra a 20 minuti dall’uscita dell’autostrada.www.avis.com

In Treno:
Dalla stazione Centrale di Milano per raggiungere Verbania si possono prendere due treni differenti: il Milano – Domodossola oppure il Milano – Ginevra. La stazione, a soli 10 minuti dalla nostra struttura è collegata al centro della città con un servizio autobus, la cui fermata è proprio alle spalle del nostro albergo.www.ferroviedellostato.it

How to get:
By Car:
Coming from Milan by car, take the A8 motorway towards Varese-Laghi. Follow the signs for Varese up to the point where the motorway splits into two: going to the right, continue towards Varese while keeping to the left, continue to Gravellona Toce. Follow the signs for Gravellona Toce and you will automatically enter the A26. Here continue straight until you reach the Baveno / Stresa exit. Exit the highway and follow the signs for Verbania along the lake: our structure remains on the right 20 minutes from the motorway exit.www.avis.com

By Train:
From Milan Central Station to reach Verbania you can take two different trains: the Milan - Domodossola or the Milan - Geneva. The station, just 10 minutes from our hotel, is connected to the city center with a bus service, whose stop is right behind our hotel.www.ferroviedellostato.it
